Here’s how to set up the debugging environment for your site to work well.1.
Set up the environment.
Open the browser’s “Preferences” menu and choose “Tools” from the menu.2.
Click on “Advanced” to open the “Developer Options.”3.
Select “Enable debug output via AJAX.”5.
If the prompt says “Debugger will be started as soon as you open the debugger,” click the “OK” button.
Type “jQuery” and click the OK button.7.
Select your browser’s default console and then type “jquery.”
If you’re using a browser that does not have the “debug” menu item, you’ll need to enter “jScript” in the search box to open up the console.8.
Click “Save changes” to save the changes.9.
Save the changes to your site.
If you don’t want to modify the code you are editing, save the new code with a different name.10.
You should see an error saying “The code you’ve entered could not be found.”
You will need to go to your web browser’s settings page and enable the “Use AJAX” setting in the Debugging section.11.
Click the “Tools | Developer Options” menu again to open “Advanced Options.”12.
