The White House announced the date of the president’s departure Friday morning, and the final day of his term is set for March 20.
President Trump will be leaving the White Senate building on Friday afternoon.
He is expected to be replaced by Vice President Mike Pence, who has the authority to remove the president.
Trump is set to leave on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
EDT (1930 GMT) after taking office in January.
The White House did not provide a final date for the inauguration of Trump’s successor, and Pence is not expected to attend.
